CALZEDONIA SHOW 2016

Last week I got the chance to attend the Calzedonia Summer Show 2016 in Verona.

Verona definitely is one of the most wonderful cities in Italy and the home of Calzedonia. It was such an honor to be invited along other bloggers and VIP’s from all the countries where Calzedonia stores are located.

Early Tuesday morning we (Stephanie, a very lovely friend of mine and I) took the car down to Verona, which only is 4 hours drive away from Klagenfurt. At around noon we arrived at the wonderful luxury boutique hotel “The Gentleman of Verona”. One of the best hotels in town. I’ve been to quite a lot fantastic hotels in the past and this boutique hotel really is one of the best & most perfectly designed I’ve ever been to. Can’t wait to come back!

After lunch a driver picked us up and took us to the Calzedonia HQ. Together with all the other bloggers I got my hair & makeup done and later we got to see the new swim wear collection in a stunning showroom themed as a huge swimming pool. So many stunning pieces! I can tell you, the new swim wear collection is really great & you should better be quick, as they are going to be selling like hot rolls once they hit the stores.

Prior to the show we got the chance to go backstage and see the models, such as Melissa Satta & Maja Krag getting ready for the show.

In the evening the dazzling show took place. Such a stunning show with the hottest male and female models and really talented dancers. A whole section of the show was dedicated to Calzedonia’s new swimwear sport line, a collection that combines technical performance and Italian lifestyle – a new line of swimwear for gym and water sports ( you can see me wearing a top of the collection here). A super cute crochet collection and brightly colored tropical collection were also presented at the show.
