During my stay in Piran I was also invited to enjoy a fantastic dinner at the gourmet restaurant Rizibizi.

The restaurant is just located on the road from Piran to Portorose, so it’s super easy to reach whether you are staying in Piran or Portorose. The restaurant team around the award winning Thomas Bevčič try to satisfy every guest with innovative combinations of colors, scents and flavors to surprise even the most demanding gourmets.

The refurbished typical Istrian Kononba offers a wonderful dinner location with 2 terraces with a splendid view over the Bay of Piran, the salt pans and `bass breeding anchor.

In 2012 the Rizibizi team has been accepted into the prestigious Association Jeunes Restaurateurs d’Europe. They are certified by French guide Gault Millau and awarded with 15 out of 20 possible points and 2 hats.

If you are looking for a fantastic dinner experience with divine food, the Rizibizi is your choice.  You need to try the Truffle Tasting Menu – it tastes fantastic!
