FALKENSTEINER HOTEL & SPA JESOLO

falkensteiner jesolo collageIf you follow me on Instagrem or Facebook, you might have already seen that CookingCatrin and I spent a perfect weekend at Falkensteiner Hotel&Spa Jesolo, together with our misters & little Matteo.

Last Friday, very early in the morning, we hopped into our cars and headed south to beautiful Lido di Jesolo (basically only a 2 1/2 hours drive from Carinthia). Well, I thought you would like to know what we were up to the whole weekend & how our beautiful accommodation looked like. So here is a little travel review for you guys.

THE HOTEL

The Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Jesolo is the newest addition to the Falkensteiner Group and has just opened its doors only a few weeks ago. So we basically were one of the first guests to enjoy this exquisite house.

I already knew from pictures that the design of this hotel is absolutely going to my kind of style. I only say – ALL WHITE EVERYTHING ! You guys know, I’m a little addicted to white architectural designn.

When you think of Jesolo and all other towns located on the Italian Adriatic Coast, you might think of those typical hotels for this area. But I can tell you, Jesolo has finally arrived in the 21st century!

You can now enjoy a whole new side at one of the most iconic locations on Italy’s Adriatic coast. The 5-star Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Jesolo, is designed to be an enchanting homage to the glorious Italian seaside resorts of the past, bringing the glamour and flair of Miami to the Adriatic. No less a figure than the renowned Richard Meier is responsible for the building – very clear & modern lines, all kept in white build the outside which is typical for Meier. Star architect Matteo Thun was is charge of the interior design and perfectly managed to combine maritime elements and the Adriatic charm with modern Miami vibes. Both really did a brilliant job!

ROOMS

The Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Jesolo features 126 accommodations with 101 double rooms, 7 suites and 18 apartments. In addition, a Nespresso Coffee machine is available in all rooms. Our room for the weekend was a suite apartment, with its own kitchenette, a living area, a walk in closet, a big private terrace & sea view. This extra large room combined unique design and exquisite interiors inspired by Miami colorful Art Deco style. You truly feel at  home from the moment you arrive here. This room is also perfect for families with a small child, as you always have the opportunity to cook tea or prepare a quick meal for the little one in the fully equipped kitchenette.

BEACH CLUB

On Friday and Saturday we enjoyed super relaxing beach days and reloaded our batteries at the beach club with private access to the beach. We were lucky enough to get beach chairs in the first row and enjoyed a frontrow-view at the sea. The Beach club is located directly in front of the hotel and is equipped with special sun beds, umbrellas and outdoor canopy beds. A perfect place to relax.

The modern & welcoming outdoor pool area offers a heated outdoor pool & jacuzzi.

My tipp: if you want to spent the day at the pool you have to be very quick and try to reserve your sun bed very early in the morning.
