Finally on our 3rd day in Manhattan the weather changed and we had the best conditions for a wonderful view over this fantastic city. After watching the St. Patrick’s Day Parade we went to the Rockefeller Center to go up to Top of the Rock by elevator, where we had an amazing view over Manhattan.
My boyfriend then insisted to got to Burger Joint at the Parker Meridien Hotel to try another burger, that’s reputed to be one of the best in town. By then I couldn’t see any burger anymore and so it was serendipity to find a branch of “the drybar” in this Hotel.
Unfortunately they were totally booked out until Monday (our date of departure), nevertheless I had a very nice conversation about hair-care products with one of the stylists while Markus enjoyed his burger. We spent the rest of the day in Chinatown, Little Italy, SoHo, Greenwich Village and the Meatpacking District. This day definitely was the best in NYC, as I couldn’t imagine Chinatown and Little Italy to be so authentic and SoHo and Greenwich Village with all the small gorgeous boutiques and vintage stores made me feel like I have arrived in heaven :)I chose my light blue blazer for this day, with a grey t-shirt and a grey scarf matched with my new Steve Madden Flats (one of my NYC purchases).
Ps: I’m sorry for always carrying my Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag with me, but this bag is the perfect travel-companion and has visited many cities with me before.
