As you guys know, I’ve spent my birthday weekend in beautiful Salzburg. Thanks to Best Wellness Hotels Austria & ”Der Krallerhof” I had the chance to spent a few wonderful days in one of Austria’s finest Wellnes & Family Hotels.

Der Krallerhof

“Der Krallerhof” is one of Austria’s finest Wellness & Family Hotels located in one of the most beautiful counties of Austria – Salzburg. More precisely it’s located on a sunny plateau in Leogang. Leogang is one of the most wonderful areas in Salzburg. In winter it’s famous for 200 kilometres of slopes in Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang; in summer Leogang is especially convincing due to the wide variety of hiking and biking routes and the unique Bikepark on the Asitz. No matter if in summer or winter – “Der Krallerhof” offers wellness holidays of the highest level for the whole family.

The Krallerhof wellness & spa area “Refugium” on 2.500 sq offers a wide range of possibilities to rest and relax: different saunas & steam baths, spacious relaxation rooms, indoor & outdoor pools and a great range of beauty- and body treatments. Definitely one of the most beautiful spa areas I’ve ever see and I’ve been to quite a lot of wellness hotels in the past few years. The Refugium really offers a one of a kind spa experience.

The Krallerhof “Refugium” also offers a fitness area, personal coaching and a fit- & vital programm with different indoor & outdoor activities As you guys know, I always need to workout to be happy, I also checked out the gym (as seen on snapchat and Instagram) & worked out at the amazing fitness area. On approx. 300 m2 it offers huge a cardio, kinesis and gym area, equipped with high-end modern Techno Gym machines. Whether you want to get your cardiovascular system going, activate your metabolism, minimise body fat or tone up your muscles – at the Krallerhof you’ll find the perfect infrastructure to achieve your desired goal also during your holidays.

The Krallerhof offers many different kind of rooms and suites, all individually decorated with passion for details. Here you can find the different rooms and suites.

We were lucky enough to spent our stay at on of the unique luxury color suites – the suite ”VANILLA”. Artistic murals made of Titanium dioxide and Terra di Pozzuli as well as wooden floors made of Doussie timber are the main characters of these extremely generously proportioned suites spanning on 2 floors and a terrace. They have a living/bedroom with a double bed and seating area (=sofa bed) on the lower floor as well as a bathroom with bathtub and shower, a separate WC with bidet, a hall and a walk-in closet. On the upper level another room with a small bathroom and shower offers a special area for children. The colors in the suite make you feel at home from the moment you enter it – pure relaxation on about 110m2.

The Krallerhof offers 10 differently furnished snugs within their restaurant. Each of them is indivually designed and decorated with passion for details! Absolutely gorgeous! A particular gem is the Renaissance ceiling from 1586 in the unique Kaiserstube. One of the most impressive ceilings I’ve ever seen.

In summer, the spacious Krallerhof terrace offers a great place to relax and have breakfast or dinner with a fantatsic view over the wonderful garden. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. You can find everything you can dream off and a great breakfast needs. They even offer a great variety of gluten free, lactose free and vegan products. They offer a special ”Feel Good Package” which includes this fantastic breakfast, a lunch buffet, an afternoon menu with homemade pastries, ice cream and other small delicacies and a choice of five-course set meals with salad buffet in the evening – a culinary highlight. The Asitz Bräu, Alte Schmiede and the famous Kraller Alm (which also belong to family Altenberger) are also worth a visit!
